"Can't I just have the best of Fillory? The best of us, of Earth?"

Fen, aka Fencicle Wahlburger, is the most underrated character in The Magicians.

She was promised to a stranger before she was born, before she even existed. She was raised to marry a king who may never come. She ends up having to marry Eliot when he becomes High King of Fillory, and he isn't very nice to her at first (granted he didn't have any say, either, but come on, man, she's in the same boat you are). 

It takes Fen some time to begin to speak her mind or make her own suggestions to anyone. The best part of her journey is watching her become so strong and kind. She offers forgiveness to her enemies as well as her friends and allies. 

Fen's crowning moment is at the end of the show. The Physical Kids have to create a new Fillory out of the World Seed, and Fen's memories are crucial to their success. While she reminisces, she talks about how terrible it could be, and instead chooses to just take the very best parts to make a world where everyone can flourish.

The Best is a bright, almost fluorescent orange that pairs perfectly with I'm a Person and People Heal. It's inspired by the orange light that comes out of the World Seed when it begins to grow.
