What bases do you offer?
Our bases come in 100g skeins unless otherwise marked
Merino Worsted-100% merino wool; 219 yards/200 meters
Superwash Worsted-100% superwash merino wool; 219 yards/200 meters
Merino DK-100% merino wool;246 yards/225 meters
Superwash DK- 100% superwash merino wool; 246 yards/225 meters
Sport- 100% superwash merino wool; 328 yards/300 meters
Merino Fingering-100% merino wool; ; 437 yards/400 meters
2 Ply Fingering-100% superwash merino wool, 2 ply; 382 yards/350 meters
Superwash Fingering-75% superwash merino wool, 25% nylon; 437 yards/400 meters
Suri Lace-75% baby alpaca, 25 % mulberry silk; 450 yards/420 meters (50g hanks)
All of the yarn we sell is guaranteed to be mulesing free! New bases will be added as the company grows.
How accurate are your pictures?
I do my best to ensure all of the pictures on our site match what I see in real life. However, please keep in mind that since our yarn is hand dyed, there will be some variations in between skeins and no two will be identical. Different monitors can also make color appear differenly.
How quickly will my order get to me?
Golden Age Studio Fibers is a one woman show, and unfortunately I do still have to work my day job!
All of our yarns are pre-order only, so turnaround time will usually be between 2-4 weeks. If a collection is extra popular, it may be longer, but I will announce that when the collection is still available so there are no surprises.
Please also note that Golden Age Studio Fibers is not responsible for delivery. If a package gets delayed or lost, please contact the shipping company first. After they have been contacted, we will be happy to assist you with any shipping issues you have.
Do you ship internationally?
We do not ship internationally at this time. If we get enough interest, we are absolutely hoping to add that option in the future!
Do you offer refunds?
We do not offer refunds or exchanges at this time. I am happy to provide additional pictures if you would like them, though!
