About Us
Welcome! My name is Marina, and it is lovely to meet you! I am from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and have been knitting and crocheting for over a decade. I live with my husband and two dogs, and when I'm not consumed by yarn craft, you can find me reading, baking, cooking, and of course, watching movies!
I got my love of cinema and Hollywood from my family growing up, and it has only gotten stronger over time. A lot of my work will be based on movies and series. Our logo and store themes are based on the beginnings of the industry (think SIngin' in the Rain or Babylon!).
Golden Age Studio Fibers came to be when I started to dye up my own yarn when I was having trouble finding a yarn in a specific shade I wanted, and I ended up loving it! I have always wanted to spend my time creating, and having an outlet for other people to enjoy my work is amazing!
