One thing my father instilled in me is a love for whodunnits. He loved Agatha Christie and was a total sucker for a good mystery. His favorite TV detective was Adrian Monk, the Defective Detective.

Monk has always had some issues, but they became worse after his wife was killed by a car bomb. The show begins several years after her death, and it follows him as he grows and grieves, and works through some of his fears (not milk, though).

Here's What Happened, is a medium brown based off of the jackets that Monk wears. He has a very specific comfort zone, and it's this color. I also had to make it a solid because Adrian Monk would detest variegated colors. The name comes from the phrase that Monk uses in every episode just before he lays out how he solved the crime.

I'm introducing a tweed base for Here's What Happened only! The brown tweed represents Adrian Monk perfectly to me. This is the only color on which this base is available, and we will not have Here's What Happened on our 2 ply base.

Tweed base- 85% Superwash Bluefaced Leicester Wool, 15% Donegal Nep (polyamide); 437 yards/400 meters

Our stitch marker from @twinesandlines is a bar of soap! Perfect for Monk's dedication to cleanliness. Stitch markers will be included with sock sets while supplies last.
