The tenth act of A Series of Unfortunate Socks is here for pre-order! The Grim Grotto is one of my favorite books in the series. Phil from Lucky Smells Lumbermill is back, so that's great. This book is Sunny heavy, which I love because somehow the baby is the most rational person in the whole story. Her saving the day with her culinary skills is completely fantastic.

It is also the first book that really expands on some secondary characters, mostly characters that have been considered evil, and humanizes them. This book shows children that not everyone sees things the same way, and that people are complicated and so much more than what you see in the surface.
