Our newest addition to Dad's Favorite Murders is a movie that my dad would have absolutely loved if he'd been here to see it. Knives Out, starring Daniel Craig and Ana de Armas, is a movie about a famous Crime Novelist whose death cannot be explained. Benoit Blanc is mysteriously hired to investigate, and nothing about it all makes sense. The movie is funny and fascinating and I, for one, cannot wait for the third movie in the series, Wake Up Dead Man, to come out this year!

Inspired by the Thrombey house, Compels Me, Though is a variegated yarn made of rich brown, green, blue, and bits of gold. It's warm and inviting and its complexity keeps you looking into the hole of the doughnut, deeper and deeper until you suss out every last detail of it.
